HSLDA: Not only a resource for legal issues, but also information concerning homeschooling in general.

Southern Maryland Christian Academy (SMCA): Multiple private schools in the area allow homeschoolers to participate in sports programs (at the middle and high school levels). However, SMCA is one of the few that does not require you to come under their oversight.

Maryland Association of Christian Home Educators (MACHE): A great resource for homeschooling information as well as the hosts of a yearly conference.
